ShipConstructor: Hull & Structure covers the following:
Covers aspects of structure modeling, such as creating, interacting, and editing planar groups. Also covers plate parts, profile parts, curved plates, plank parts, corrugated plates, and standard parts. Students will also learn general modeling. Also covers hull modeling which includes the hull-structure relationship, surfaces, plates, stringers, and stringer shells. Also discusses shell expansion, pin jigs, NURBS curves, and curve blocks.
Prerequisite
- Must be 18+
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must have previously taken Marine Design
