Course Description

Counterbalanced Forklift covers the following:

Discusses center of gravity, the stability triangle, and what to do in case of tip over. Learn pre-operational safety check procedures. Also includes classifications for all industrial trucks, safe operating procedures, types of forks, loading and unloading, refueling, battery care & recharging.

Course Objective

The course objectives are:

  • Understand the stability triangle and center of gravity
  • How to handle tip overs
  • Perform pre-operational safety checks
  • Learn safe operating procedures

Course Prerequisite

Students must be 18 years old or older and be eligible to work in the United States.
