Course Description
Introduction to Structural Fitting covers:
- Welding Safety
- Introduction to SMAW equipment set up
- Introduction to oxyfuel cutting
Students must:
- be 18+
- be eligible to work in the US
Note: This class does not provide enough training to secure employment.
Course Objective
- Identify layout and fitting tools
- Identify fitting aids used to fit up and align parts
- Describe the 3-4-5 method
- Identify the three types of oxyfuel flames.
