When Alabama lands a new manufacturer, there is an $85 million state agency tasked with training new workers. But how do they do it?

One state agency is tasked with ensuring those workers know how to do their jobs. Simply put, the agency’s 162 full-time employees teach workers how to do their jobs. That’s everything from robotics to electric vehicles to warehouse and distribution jobs.

To get all of that done, AIDT has four training centers, including the Alabama Robotics Technology Park in Tanner, Mobile’s Maritime Training Center, and complexes in Montgomery and Birmingham
